Still destashing!

I can’t believe all of the felt I had accumulated!  A lot have sold but I’m still destashing, and kind of sad about what I could have made.  There were grand plans for needlefelted wools and felt combined into hats, mittens, brooches.  My least favorite part of the process was the actual sewing.  The shopping, planning, needlefelting and designing was the best!  I should get myself an elf..

This one is ready to be sewn into a hat.

These were going to be trivets..

These are done and in my shop:  Scarves made from pants and a skirt..

I made a few last year with needlefelted cherries, and if I ever have a spare second, I’ll make more.  I’m keeping the wool pants and skirts, for now!

Hats

I love to knit (hence the Etsy store name, JMillenLovesToKnit)..

I also love to use the word HENCE.  He he.

I have made so many chemo caps in the last 2 years that I can literally knit them in my sleep.  I went to see Mama Mia the other night and REALLY wanted to take my knitting… but chickened out.  Maybe next time.

Here are some hats, one is for sale in my shop and the other is going to the oncologist to put in the ‘free hats’ basket.

For some reason I also like to knit baby hats, but there are no babies in my life right now.  The kids are in college and we hope to keep it that way for a few more years!  So I have to list them on Etsy.  Here’s one, I call it the bling hat:

Sure wish I had a real live model!  Some day..

Cute

I knit to de-stress, and boy have I been stressed this week!  I finished this cute little ‘cherry’ hat that I just listed on Etsy in my JMillenlovestoknit shop.

I wish I had a little cutie to put this on!
